Three years ago, whilst working as an interior designer on bespoke, luxury projects, I had an idea that wouldn't leave me alone: What if you could access high-end interior design and materials without hiring a designer? After thousands of hours of developing and perfecting this idea, I launched my first set of Off-the-Peg Design Schemes.

Since then, I’ve been listening to your feedback and refining the product to make it even more accessible and valuable for you. I’m excited to introduce the The Off-the-Peg Design Schemes: Refreshed Edition—at a lower price point and with even more exciting updates to help you create the home of your dreams.

During this refresh, the old design schemes will still be available on the website; but if you would like to wait while we make these important updates, don’t worry — you won't have to wait long. Who Is Holly Lomax?

Hello! I'm Holly, an experienced interior designer with a background in architectural history.

After graduating from Cambridge University and a career in historic building consultancy, I realised my heart belonged to interior design. I trained under the internationally-renowned interior designer Rita Konig, and later worked for House and Garden Top 100 designers Lucy Cunningham and Isabella Worsley.

I set up my own studio in 2022 and what a ride it's been! Since then, I have worked on projects ranging from listed country houses to contemporary New York apartments, creating vibrant, characterful design schemes that perfectly represent my clients' tastes.

In November 2024 launched my Off-the-Peg Design Schemes, an innovative new way to bring exceptional interior design and high-spec materials to a wider audience - without the hassle and expense of hiring an interior designer.
